POPULATION IN SPAIN
AGE GROUP
Classification of the opulation by age. The most common clssification is into three groups: children (0-14 years), people of working age (15-64) and older people (over 65).
AGEING POPULATION
A population in which the proportion of older people increases because people live longer and fewer babies are born.
ANTINATALIST POLICY
A series of measures aimed at reducing the birth rate, for example by using family planning and the distribution of contraceptives.
BIRTH RATE
The number of births in a population over a year..
BRAIN DRAIN
The emigration of well-qualified people with technical skills.
CENSUS
An official enumeration of how many people there are in a country in a particular year.
DATA
Information that can be measured and studied.

The stage in  country’s development when its economy grows, and its mortality rate and birth rate both fall.
